What's FDI? FDI
(Fomento para el Desarrollo Integral) is a civilian, non-profit organization formed by social conscience youths who want to support the overall development of Guatemala through education and recreation. Our goal is to contribute towards the socio-educational development of Guatemala by establishing and fostering educational spaces in impoverished rural and urban communities.

Who Are We?
We are a civil organization of non-lucrative character formed by adults and youth focused on civil responsibility. We seek to support the integral development of Guatemala through education.

Vision:
To be an organization with the necessary capital needed to expand throughout Guatemala, supporting society by offering professional, technological and environmental services with quality and humanism.

Mission:
Serve as an educational associate of Guatemala, contributing to the development.

General Objectives:
To promote education in the urban and rural areas of Guatemala via different educational and social development programs. To collaborate with the improvement of education, attacking illiteracy and improving the quality of human life.

Specific Objectives:
»To help prepare children and teenagers adapt to the needs of the future.
»To further expand the knowledge of the adults.
»To foster the culture of recycling and conservation of the environment.
»To create places more adapted to support tasks, research and recreation.
»To create and develop programs that foster culture, sciences, arts, physical health and the mind.
»To manage public works that benefit the community.

OURS PUT TO SHORT AND LONG TERM:

Short Term:
»To establish ties and a harmonious relationship between the community and our organization.
»To find or create favorable conditions for our programs to work directly in the community.
»To earn community interest by involving the community and making them committed to the programs we promote.
»To stimulate interest in self-sustainable development within the community members and the affiliates of our organization.· To find financial backing for the sustainability of FDI.

Long Term:
»To make FDI financially self-sustainable.
»To make FDI-established projects self-sustainable.
» To put the community in-charge of continuing and strengthening services for community members, with the help of FDI.
»To make sure that the children, teens and adults benefit and prepare themselves for a better future via FDI-promoted programs.
